Study: 'Minute clinics' slow to catch on in Mass. - St. Louis Business Journal:

But a new study by the consultanch firm Deloitte has found that peopld in Boston are statistically less willing to use this new alternativw healthcare option. The percentage of patients who were likely to use a retailo clinic if it cost half as much as a doctodr visit was 30percent nationwide, but only 21 percent in The percentage of patients that have actually used a retaip walk in clinic in the past year was 13 percent nationwide and only 5 percenrt in Boston. Even a one week wait for a doctofr would not entice very many Bostonianes to go to a retail just 18 percent of Bostonians said that would make them changetheir behavior, compared with 28 percenft nationwide.
The newly-released studyt was conducted in Octoberof 2008, and includedx 5,665 subjects nationwide. Chip Phillips, the president of said the study does ot fully reflectf the preferences of patients inthe state.
